Lucasfilm discusses Maya use for Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Lucasfilm and Lucasfilm Animation are using Autodesk Maya software to create the upcoming television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, just as they did to create the feature-length animated film that is now in cinemas.

LaCie Network Space targets small firms

LaCie has announced the Network Space, design by Neil Poulton. This newly available networked attached storage (NAS) and media server was designed specifically for easy small office (and home) use and is available in capacities of 500GB to 1TB. LaCie Network Space is designed to be usable right from the box, with the company saying that users can just plug the Network Space into the router through the rear Ethernet port and instantly the Network Space is available to share files through the local area network.
